[March 2014] EOIR participated in Wright State University’s EmployAbility Expo on March 26. This unique career fair is open to anyone with disabilities and encourages companies to incorporate diversity and people with disabilities into the workforce. This year, 36 companies participated.
The morning began with a networking breakfast followed by a dynamic presentation from founder and CEO of the Wright Choice Employer-In-Residence Program, TyKiah Wright, who gave EOIR special recognition as the first employer to partner with the Employer-In-Residence Program. She described the commitment EOIR provides to students by critiquing resumes and conducting mock interviews and highlighted the successful internship opportunity that emerged from this partnership.
Kristen Wolf and John Saddler staffed EOIR’s booth, collected resumes, spoke one-on-one with individuals seeking employment opportunities, and handed out company literature.
