Infrared Interferogram Processor
IProc is a tool that permits analysis of interferograms from commercial spectrometers. For the analysis of remotely captured chemical emission spectral information, the IProc interface offers a Windows based control for data analysis. For analysis, a remote system sends information to the control location for display and processing. During the analysis phase, chemical signatures from the remote sight are matched to signatures of known agents.
Upon receiving interferogram data, IProc performs a fast fourier transform to display data in the frequency domain. This simplifies the recognition of targeted chemical signatures. Users of IProc may open raw format files containing reference data for comparison purposes. Both spectra may be viewed at full width, 8-11 nm focus, or 3-5 nm focus, allowing for detailed examination.
