GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Systems Engineer will perform the following tasks to assist in the development of the business case reviews:
- Conduct market surveys for research into the state-of-the-art technology for consideration
- Evaluate system capabilities for systems under review as related to Threshold/Objective requirements
- Develop MS Excel spreadsheet outlining potential alternatives related to Key Performance Parameters (KPP)
- Assist in the development of the BCR
- Participate in the Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Electrical Engineering/Systems Engineering expertise in system design and integrating experience
- Working knowledge with MS Office Suite, specifically MS Project, Excel, and Word
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Working understanding of thermal sensors and image intensifiers (I2) devices to include design and integration
