EOIR has partnered with the Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD) for more than 10 years and met the U.S. Army’s continuing needs for design, development, testing, training, deployment, operation, and sustainment of sensor, intelligence, and radar systems. The EOIR team is composed of cleared and experienced subject matter experts, scientists, and engineers in the areas of sensor integration, sensor fusion, video processing and exploitation, modeling and simulation, radars, and software development.
I2WD has been assigned the mission of Lead System Integrator for the Distributed Common Ground System – Army (DCGS-A) v3 program of record. To fulfill this mission, EOIR supports the Fusion Technologies and Simulation and Modeling Branches of I2WD to establish the DCGS-A System Integration Lab (SIL) for the development, integration, test, and configuration management of emerging technologies into the DCGS-A system architecture. EOIR is responsible for the design, installation, operations, maintenance, and support of the DCGS-A SIL located at Ft. Monmouth, NJ. Additionally, EOIR leads the development of innovative software tools used by Military Intelligence analysts deployed in theater. On the DCGS-A SIL contract, EOIR also supports several collaborative efforts between the Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) and I2WD, such as Command, Control, Communications, Computers Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaisance (C4ISR) On The Move (OTM) and the integration of DCGS-A with the capabilities developed under NVESD’s Distributed Sensors Integration Facility (DSIF).
